SHOWCASE DESIGN - MANSION IN MAY 2008
The Women's Association of Morristown Memorial Hospital chose Froh Heim, a historic property in Far Hills, NJ for this year's benefit for the Valerie Fund Children's Center at Goryeb Children's Hospital. We were honored to create "The Commander's Nest", a compact space serving as command central for the lady of the house who is both a creative force with international design projects and a mother with children's lives to organize, bills to pay and a staff to maintain. With its custom cabinetry and island it appears a charming cottage, but underneath this facade lies a well oiled machine enabling her to fulfill her roles in a creative atmosphere. In her sanctuary while lounging on plush upholstery she can relax and let her imagination wander.
Our interior design team was inspired by the eclectic combination of rustic and contemporary design, custom crafted with colorful finishes and natural materials combined with touches of whimsical artistry.
